Forty-two full-time faculty — practising clinicians, nurse educators and researchers who have spent years at the bedside before they ever stood at a lectern. They teach because they still practise.

Of our 42 full-time faculty, 14 hold doctoral qualifications and 26 hold a Master's in a nursing speciality. Every member maintains an active clinical affiliation — the Medical-Surgical team holds RCCN critical-care credentials, the OBG team runs the labour-room on weekends, and the Community Health team supervises our rural PHCs in Kolar year-round. When they teach, they teach from last week's ward, not last decade's textbook.

Each department is led by a professor or HOD and staffed by associate and assistant professors, lecturers and visiting clinicians. Together they cover every INC-mandated subject area.

PG Specialisations
M.Sc. Nursing · 5 seats per speciality
Five INC-recognised PG specialisations are taught across these six departments, each with its own research mentor and a defended thesis.
Admissions for the 2025–26 batch are open. The first merit list for B.Sc. Nursing was published on 26 July; applications for GNM, Post Basic B.Sc. and M.Sc. specialisations remain open through August. Our admissions office is open Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
